Tretyakov Gallery is the Central Museum of Art in Russia and one of the most popular museums in Moscow. Tretyakov Gallery was founded in 1856 by the Russian merchant Pavel Tretyakov. Today, 62 halls feature approximately 100,000 works of famous Russian artists from 11th to early 20th century.
