Tretyakov Gallery is the Central Museum of Art in Russia and one of the most popular museums in Moscow. Tretyakov Gallery was founded in 1856 by the Russian merchant Pavel Tretyakov. Today, 62 halls feature approximately 100,000 works of famous Russian artists from 11th to early 20th century.

Our private tour of the Gallery will introduce you to the art of ancient paintings and works of Rublev, Shishkin, Vasnetsov, Vrubel. The Tretyakovskaya Gallery is famous for its unique collection of  Orthodox icons and mosaics dated back to the 10th-11th centuries. Here you can gaze at the icon of Our Lady of Vladimir, the Trinity Icon painted by the outstanding Russian artist Andrei Rublev and many other works.
